Product Core Advantages
Excellent Durability and Lightweight Design: Our production processes are continuously optimized to achieve lightweight designs while maintaining strength and durability, resulting in high-quality, long-lasting products.
Extensive Material Selection and Superb Finishing: We support the machining of a wide range of materials, including but not limited to stainless steel (such as 303, 304, 316, and 17-4), carbon steel, alloy steel, titanium alloys, and non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum. We also offer a variety of surface treatment options, including galvanizing, black plating, chrome plating, nickel plating, anodizing, and sandblasting, to meet diverse corrosion protection, wear resistance, and aesthetic requirements.
Strict Precision Standards: We utilize advanced CNC turning and milling technology to ensure our products meet stringent tolerances (up to ±0.003mm) and exceptionally low surface roughness (Ra0.04-0.08μm), ensuring smooth operation and precise installation.
Customer-Focused Service: We offer flexible OEM/ODM customization services and employ a professional engineering team dedicated to meeting the challenges of complex, high-precision parts. From the moment you submit your drawings or samples, we'll respond within 24 hours, providing a one-stop solution from quote to production.
Q1: What grooved shaft materials do you offer? What are your recommendations?
We can process a variety of metal materials, including but not limited to:
Stainless steel: 303, 304, 316, 416, 17-4PH SUS440C, suitable for applications requiring high corrosion resistance and strength.
Carbon and alloy steel: 1018, 1045, 4140, 4340, suitable for transmission applications requiring high strength and wear resistance.
Non-ferrous metals: Aluminum alloys, brass, and copper, suitable for applications requiring lightweight or high electrical/thermal conductivity.
Special alloys: Titanium alloys, etc.
Q2: What level of precision can your grooved shafts achieve?
We utilize advanced CNC lathes and multi-process machining centers to ensure high-precision manufacturing. Typically, our grooved shaft diameter tolerances are strictly controlled within ±0.005mm, and some critical dimensions can even reach ±0.003mm. We also guarantee excellent coaxiality and roundness, ensuring smooth transmission and precise installation.
Q3: Can we provide our own design drawings for customization?
Of course! We welcome and encourage customers to provide their own design drawings (in formats such as DXF, DWG, PDF, STEP, IGES, etc.).
Q4: How do you ensure the quality and consistency of your grooved shafts?
We implement a comprehensive quality control system:
Incoming Material Inspection: All raw materials are rigorously inspected.
In-Process Inspection: Operators conduct initial and spot checks after each critical production step. 3. Final Inspection: Finished products undergo 100% final inspection by our quality department using high-precision measuring equipment (such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical projectors, and micrometers) to ensure that every product meets specifications.
System Certification: Our factory is ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management systems, ensuring standardized and traceable production processes.
Q5: What surface treatment options are available? How do I choose?
We offer a variety of surface treatment options to enhance our products' corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and aesthetics:
Galvanizing: Economical and provides excellent rust resistance.
Nickel/Chrome Plating: Provides a bright appearance and excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
Blackening (Bluing): Creates an attractive black oxide layer that prevents rust and relieves internal stress.
Anodizing (primarily for aluminum alloys): Available in a variety of colors, it significantly enhances surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Sandblasting: Creates a matte finish, enhancing aesthetics and coating adhesion.
Q6: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? What is the typical production lead time?
For standard grooved shafts, our MOQ can be as low as 50 pieces. For customized products, the MOQ is typically 100-500 pieces, depending on the complexity of the design.
Production lead times are typically 15-25 business days after receiving a confirmed order and advance payment. For small or urgent orders, we can offer expedited service; please contact us for specific lead times.
Q7: If I only have a concept or sample but no detailed engineering drawings, can you manufacture it?
Absolutely. Even if you only have a product concept, sketch, or physical sample, our engineering and design teams can work with you through reverse engineering or collaborative design to transform your ideas into production-ready drawings and ultimately create a finished product that meets your specifications.
Q8: Do you accept small sample orders for testing?
We understand your need for testing and verification before purchasing in bulk. Therefore, we welcome and support small sample orders.
Q9: What can I expect when I work with MaiJin Metal service?
You can expect what all of our customers expect: quality parts, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service. We love what we do, and we think it shows!
Q10: What is the smallest part you can make? What is the largest part you can make?
The short answer is “it depends.” Things like your needs, part complexity, the type of manufacturing, and many other factors are at play. In general, we can machine parts with minor outside diameters (ODs) as small as 2mm (0.080”) and major ODs as large as 200mm (8”). If you’re looking for help nailing down those factors, we encourage you to contact our technical sales staff early in the design cycle so we can review your part and provide insight and assistance.
