• Carbon and alloy steel: 1018, 1045, 4140, 4340, suitable for transmission applications requiring high strength and wear resistance.

• Non-ferrous metals: Aluminum alloys, brass, and copper, suitable for applications requiring lightweight or high electrical/thermal conductivity.

We offer a variety of surface treatment options to enhance our products' corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and aesthetics:

• Galvanizing: Economical and provides excellent rust resistance.

• Nickel/Chrome Plating: Provides a bright appearance and excellent wear and corrosion resistance.

• Blackening (Bluing): Creates an attractive black oxide layer that prevents rust and relieves internal stress.

• Anodizing (primarily for aluminum alloys): Available in a variety of colors, it significantly enhances surface hardness and corrosion resistance.

Sandblasting: Creates a matte finish, enhancing aesthetics and coating adhesion.

Absolutely. Even if you only have a product concept, sketch, or physical sample, our engineering and design teams can work with you through reverse engineering or collaborative design to transform your ideas into production-ready drawings and ultimately create a finished product that meets your specifications.

Q10: What is the smallest part you can make? What is the largest part you can make?

The short answer is “it depends.” Things like your needs, part complexity, the type of manufacturing, and many other factors are at play. In general, we can machine parts with minor outside diameters (ODs) as small as 2mm (0.080”) and major ODs as large as 200mm (8”). If you’re looking for help nailing down those factors, we encourage you to contact our technical sales staff early in the design cycle so we can review your part and provide insight and assistance.
